Lecturer-intern of the Criminal Law and Procedure Department, Yevheniia Lytvynenko, participated in a webinar on the topic of “Intellectual Property: How to Protect Your Rights?” on 6 March 2024. The event was dedicated to general issues concerning intellectual property law, copyright, and specifically focused on the protection and enforcement of copyright.
Yuliana Zuh, a professional in innovation activities from the Department of Innovation Development’s network of Technology and Innovation Support Centres at the UKRNOIVI (TISC IP Office’s Head Office), explained and visually demonstrated where on the website of the State Intellectual Property Protection System the application for copyright registration of a work and the instructions for its completion are located. Practical aspects of the registration of intellectual property objects and examples of interesting patent cases were discussed by Ihor Shevchenko, a representative of the TISC network (Vinnytsia Chamber of Commerce and Industry), patent attorney, and head of the department of foreign economic relations and translations at the Vinnytsia Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
