The departmental scientific work is based on the complex scientific topic “Organization and principles of activity of the judicial power of Ukraine: essence, concept, current state of activity and ways of organizing the administrative and legal foundations of the formation of a positive image.” The department actively conducts scientific development of the problems of the mentioned topic, the results of which are reflected in manuals, scientific articles, as well as dissertation studies.
Scientific articles of the department’s teachers are published on the pages of authoritative domestic and foreign professional publications, including those registered in the Scopus database. The topics of the publications are focused on the most urgent issues of the modern development of legal science.
To expand opportunities for extra-auditory communication and scientific work between teachers and students, the department has established the Student Scientific Society, whose members are:
* take an active part in scientific and scientific-practical conferences, which are held both in the university and outside its borders;
* engaged in scientific research work, including participation in scientific research competitions;
* take part in olympiads in legal disciplines both at the university and at the state level;
* carry out the publication of scientific articles in co-authorship with the teachers of the department.
