OUR ACCHIEvENTS FOR 2022

Scientific and pedagogical potential, quality of training of scientific and pedagogical personnel

In 2022, the number of scientific and pedagogical workers did not change, even after the election of V.V. Pakhomov to the post of head of the department of the Academy of Science and Technology. After all, D. V. Maletov, who currently holds the position of a teacher-trainee, was additionally added to the staff. Currently, the number of scientific and pedagogical workers is 11, of which 1 is a doctor. n., professor. The rest of the department’s employees are Candidates of Science in Jurisprudence, a total of 3 employees of the department have the academic title of associate professor. At the same time, the attestation case of O.S. Bondarenko regarding the assignment of the scientific title of associate professor is currently under consideration by the Ministry of Education and Science. The department held a vote on awarding the academic title of associate professor to I. P. Hrybachova. In addition, in April 2022, M. S. Utkina can apply for the academic title of associate professor. In addition, we consider it an important achievement that that 3 employees are currently doctoral students and are working on dissertations for obtaining the scientific degree of Doctor of Legal Sciences with specialization 12.00.03 – civil law and process; international private law (A. Honchrova), 12.00.08 – criminal law and criminology; criminal law (M. O. Dumchikov), 12.00.07 – administrative law and process; financial, information law. Under the scientific guidance of the department’s teachers, 1 dissertation for the degree of Doctor of Philosophy (K. D. Yanishevska) and 1 dissertation for the degree of Candidate of Legal Sciences were defended. Scientific and pedagogical staff of the department supervise 11 graduate students. Defense of dissertations is planned for 3 graduate students (Wolovik, Yarusevich, Kipcharskyi) next year. international private law (A. The quality of educational and scientific work with students

In 2021 the department provided teaching of 25 academic disciplines, each of them was provided with multimedia support. In addition, given the need to work online, MIX was very widely used. We consider it an important achievement that the senior teacher of the department M. O. Dumchikov taught the academic discipline “Fundamentals of criminal law”, and associate professor I. P. Hrybachova “Intellectual property”, “Intellectual property in medicine” for foreign students in English. Regarding the involvement of students in scientific publishing activity, in 2022, 25 articles and 105 theses were published by the authorship and co-authorship of students. In 2022, we plan to increase the publishing activity of students.

Quality of international activity

  • In view of the introduction of the worldwide quarantine, the implementation of this line of activity was complicated. At the same time, we still have certain achievements in this area as well. In particular, 9 teachers of the department participated in virtual international mobility for the purpose of improving their qualifications. However, the department of international relations took into account only the improvement of qualifications: Yanishevska K. D., Utkina M. S., Bondarenko O. S.).
  • 10 stakeholders were submitted from the department (Ilchenko O. V. – 3, Yanishevstka K. D. – 3 (1 of which is international), Dumchikov M. O. – 2,
    Karikh I. V. – 2).
  • In 2022, it is planned to involve all teachers and 7 graduate students in international virtual activity. If possible, a full-time internship is planned for 2 scientific and pedagogical workers.

The quality of the preparation of the GDR students for participation in the competition

A total of 15 papers were prepared at the department . Among them by specialty:

Law – 2 works ;

Criminal law and criminology; criminal executive law – 10 papers ;

Intellectual property law – 3 works .

Among them, 9 students won prizes – Criminal law and criminology; criminal law ( K. D. Yanishevska and
 V. V. Pakhomov);

Civil law (A. V. Honcharova, I. P. Hrybachova);

Criminal procedural law – O. V. Ilchenko;

PIV – (Utkina M.S., Zolota L.V.).

In 2022, we plan to send about 16 papers to participate in the 2nd round of the All-Ukrainian competition for student research papers in various fields. Moreover, we hope that in 2022 the holding of student Olympiads, which were not held in 2020 due to the quarantine, will be resumed.

 

The level of publicizing the results of scientific and scientific-methodical activities

  • In 2021, 1 textbook was published (Political science: textbook / V. Sukhonos, V. Sukhonos, A. Kulish, R. Bilokin; edited by Volodymyr Sukhonos. Sumy: University Book, 2021. 493 p.);
  • The teachers of the department I. V. Karikh and K. D. Yanishchevska became co-authors in collective monographs. The monograph, co-authored by K. D. Yanishchevska, was published abroad (USA);
  • 1 monograph was published abroad in English (Bondarenko O., Utkina M., Dumchikov M. Crimanal Legal and Criminological Characteristics of Domestic Abuse monograph. Germany: AP Lambert Academic Publishing GmbH & Co. KG. 2021. 65 p.);
  • 1 monograph in Ukrainian (O.S. Bondarenko. The concept of criminal-legal counteraction to corruption: monograph. Sumy: Sumy State University, 2021. 472 p.)
  • 27 articles by teachers of the department,
  • 7 articles were published abroad;
  • 19 articles were published in publications indexed by the Scopus and WOS databases.
  • 33 theses were published at conferences in Ukraine and abroad.

In general, in the perspectives of 2022 on scientific activity:

1) educational aids and textbooks – at least 2 units.

2) publication of articles in journals registered by the scientific and metric database Scopus and WOS – at least 19;

3) publication of articles in scientific specialized publications (including with the participation of students) – at least 30;

4) participation in scientific, scientific and practical conferences (including abstracts of reports with the participation of students) – at least 95.

 

Financial indicators of the results of innovative activities

The receipt of funds under self-financing contracts amounted to UAH 68,000.

In February 2022, it is planned to conclude 3 self-financing contracts for the total amount of UAH 2,000-2,500.

In general, in the perspective of 2022, the teachers of the KPDS department will conclude self-financing contracts in the amount of about UAH 69,000.

 

Grant activity

Submission of applications

  • National Research Fund of Ukraine “Man, society, science before modern challenges: innovative research in the social and humanitarian sphere”. Topic: “Methodology of the interaction of financial monitoring subjects to combat the legalization of criminal proceeds” (O.S. Bondarenko, M.S. Utkina, M.O. Dumchikov, D.V. Maletov, R.O.
    Degtyar, M. Krasylyuk O.) – the application is under examination, passed the 1st stage of selection on formal grounds ;
  • MES Competition of projects for young scientists, Section: Security society: protection of freedom, national security and cultural heritage of Ukraine and its citizens. Topic: “Concept of legal responsibility for smuggling of commercial goods” (O.S. Bondarenko, M.S. Utkina, M.O. Dumchikov, D.V. Maletov…) – the application was in 2nd place in the section, but from the section only 1 application passed.

In 2022, it is planned to submit four applications for participation in:

  • The competition “Grants of the President of Ukraine to support scientific research of young scientists” for 2022 by two teachers of the department;
  • Competitions held by the National Research Fund of Ukraine – 2 applications.

 

Participation in competitions of Sumy State University

  • Submitted from the application for the “Pedagogical Innovations” Competition: 1) O. S. Bondarenko, M. O. Dumchikov, M. S. Utkina; 2) A. V. Goncharova and I. P. Hrybachova; 3) Yanishevska K. D. in co-authorship with the teachers of the medical institute. The results are expected in January 2022.
  • 2 teachers of the department were recognized as winners of the competition “The best teacher in the eyes of students” – O. S. Bondarenko, M. S. Utkina;
  • An application has been submitted for the competition of mobile devices (Dumchikov M. O., Utkina M. S., Dumchikov M. O.). Results in June 2022.

 

Other gains

  • The “It-law” certificate program has been launched.
  • The team of authors (O. M. Reznik, M. S. Utkina, O. S. Bondarenko) submitted documents to receive the NAS award for a cycle of scientific works.
  • The signing of the contract on the opening of a branch on the basis of the NDCC in the Sumy region has been initiated and is already at the stage of registration.

 

Career guidance activities

  1. Conducting a demonstrative online court session on the discipline of criminal law for schoolchildren of grades 10-11 (November) – completed
  2. Creation of a telegram channel where news of a legal nature will be presented with a subsequent transition to the department’s website (for the entire time) – completed
  3. A lecture for schoolchildren on the basics of cyber security is planned for the 2nd semester
  4. A lecture for schoolchildren on the basics of personal data protection is planned for the 2nd semester
