Grant possibilities of the department
Application experience:
1) the international project “Development of scientific and methodological recommendations on the criminalization of commercial goods smuggling as a prerequisite for the economic security of Ukraine” was submitted (Civil Initiative “For Transparent and Honest Customs”). The results obtained in work can be implemented in further applied developments, namely as proposals for changes to normative legal acts that regulate the issue of combating smuggling. From the temporarily occupied territories and from the region of Ukraine to the part of the European Union.
2) a project was submitted for the competition of the National Research Fund, dedicated to the development of a methodology for the interaction of financial monitoring subjects in the context of combating cross-border criminal schemes related to the legalization of criminal proceeds, the financing of terrorism, and the financing of the proliferation of weapons of mass destruction. The results obtained in work can be implemented in further applied developments, namely as proposals for changes to normative legal acts that regulate the issue of international interaction of financial monitoring subjects, as well as the development of criminological programs to combat the legalisation of criminal proceeds, financing of terrorism and financing proliferation of weapons of mass destruction.
3) a project was submitted to the Erasmus+ JMO-2022-MODULE competition on the topic “Combating corruption in Ukraine in the conditions of European integration”. The results obtained in the work can be used in further applied developments, namely as proposals for changes to normative legal acts, which regulate the issue of combating criminal corruption offences and other acts of corruption in Ukraine.
4) a project was submitted to the Erasmus+ JMO-2022-MODULE competition on the topic “Intellectual Property Values of the EU: Implementation in Ukraine”. The work aimed to study the best practices for settling intellectual property issues, particularly artificial intelligence, copyright, etc., and implementation possibilities in Ukraine.
The main ideas that we want to implement:
1) legal provision of copyright protection on the Internet in the conditions of European integration.
2) copyright protection in the IT sphere.
3) specifics of countering camcording and piracy on the territory of Ukraine in the conditions of European integration.
4) peculiarities of legal regulation and implementation of turnover of virtual assets on the territory of Ukraine.
5) peculiarities of conducting financial intelligence (monitoring) in the context of the interaction of the subjects of its implementation.
6) features of combating corruption under martial law.
