From March 2nd to March 3rd, Darina Shokorova, a diligent student of the Intellectual Property educational program, participated in the XIV Intellectual Property Law School. This event was organized by the Kyiv branch of the APU Students’ League, bringing together leading experts and interested students to discuss urgent issues in the field of intellectual property. Over two days, Darina had a unique opportunity to deepen her knowledge on current issues that will directly affect her professional future. Among the discussed topics were: “Patent Trolling”, where lecturers shared strategies for combating unfair patent use practices; “Copyright in the Conditions of Martial Law”, highlighting the peculiarities of intellectual property protection during armed conflicts; and “Modern Challenges of Intellectual Property Law”, focusing on copyright protection in the digital era, including memes, fanfics, fan arts, and other forms of creativity. This event marked an important milestone in Darina’s education and professional development, providing her with tools and knowledge for effective work in the field of intellectual property.
