On September 25, a lecture-discussion on the discipline “legal regulation of innovative technologies” with a representative of the Cyber Police Department of the National Police of Ukraine took place within the framework of the certified program “Information Technology Law” of the Department of Criminal Law Disciplines and Judiciary. Within the framework of the topic “Regulatory and legal regulation of cyberspace”, a representative of the Cyber Police Department of the National Police of Ukraine emphasized the main threats to our state in the framework of cyberspace. Determined which socially dangerous acts in cyberspace are crimes and what punishment can be applied to the person who committed them. In addition, as part of the popularization of the “Mriya” electronic platform, a representative of the Cyber Police Department of the National Police of Ukraine spoke about the main points of working with this platform. Students took an active part in discussing the debatable points of the lecture.
On September 26, 2023, the head of the Department Olga BONDARENKO took part in the panel discussion “Digital trends and anti-corruption reforms in the field of public administration” within the VII International Legal Forum.
The directions of the panel discussion were
I. Digitalization and anti-corruption trends as challenges of modern rule-making in the field of public administration
Digitization as a trigger of public administration transparency: organizational, legal and procedural dimensions
Modern legal strategies for overcoming corrupt practices in the sphere of public authority: foreign experience and the latest Ukrainian content
II. Update of the administrative-delict legislation in Ukraine: in the framework of which the presentation “Concept of the new Code of Ukraine on administrative offenses” took place
On September 12, 2023, the head of the department, Olga BONDARENKO, took part in the discussion of the project of the Communication Strategy in the field of prevention and countering corruption for 2023-2025.

The course was developed by the IT company Genesis, the NGO “Educational Foundation of Product IT” and the EdEra online education studio with the support of the Ministry of Digital and Ministry of Education and Science.
The received certificate gives the right to integrate the course “Creation and development of IT products”. The course materials and acquired knowledge will be used during the teaching of the educational disciplines “Copyright in IT” for students of the “Intellectual Property” educational program and are aimed at forming students’ basic knowledge of product IT, entrepreneurship and product management, as well as competence for the first steps in the product IT company or starting your own product IT business.
In addition, students will have the opportunity to take the course “Creation and development of IT products” as an informal education. The course materials include video lectures, interviews, screencasts, text summaries, infographics, and a simulator on the platform.
On August 18, 2023, the head of the department, Olha Bondarenko, took part in the event regarding the presentation of the public part of the Information System for monitoring the implementation of the state anti-corruption policy, which was held by the NAK. During the event, there was a discussion of the anti-corruption strategy, the State anti-corruption program for 2023-2025 and the directly public part of the Information System for monitoring the implementation of the state anti-corruption policy
On August 9, 2023, the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine adopted the Resolution “On the appointment of named scholarships of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine for young scientists – doctors of science in 2023.” In accordance with the Resolution, based on the results of the competition, 48 named scholarships of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine for young scientists – doctors of sciences have been appointed in 2023.
The Summer School on “Sustainable Development Goals: Global Challenges, Local Actions, Achieved Results” and the Liverpool Summer School on Council of Europe Law, which lasted from July 3 to 21, have recently ended.
The summer schools were attended by teachers and graduate students of the Criminal Law and Procedure department in a remote form. The senior teacher of the department, Maryna UTKINA, took part in the events in person.
