On December 5–6, 2024, the University of Tours (France) hosted the international conference “Heritage Management and Transfer in the Franco-Portuguese Context.” The event, organized by Associate Professor of the Department of Criminal Law and Judicial Disciplines at Sumy State University, Alina Honcharova, who is currently conducting research at this institution, brought together approximately 200 participants.
The attendees included leading experts, academics, and practitioners from France and Portugal. One of the key topics of the conference was the issue of electronic wills. In her presentation, Associate Professor Alina Honcharova highlighted modern trends in the digitalization of inheritance law, examined the legal nuances of electronic wills in a cross-border context, and proposed innovative approaches to their practical application.
The conference served as a significant platform for exchanging ideas and experiences aimed at improving legislation and practices in heritage management in the era of digital transformation.
