Students of general secondary and extracurricular education institutions, listeners of the Sumy Territorial Branch of the Junior Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, visited the Academic and Research Institute of Law as part of the initiative “Regional Hackathon ‘Science in Action’.”
An assistant of the Department of Criminal Law and Procedure, Ms. Yevheniia Lytvynenko, has successfully completed the “Training of Trainers” (ToT) program for technology transfer managers, organized by the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine. This initiative aimed to equip highly qualified professionals capable of effectively integrating scientific innovations into the real economy.
On 12 December 2024, Yevheniia Lytvynenko, Assistant of the Department of Criminal Law Disciplines and Procedure at the Academic and Research Institute of Law of Sumy State University, successfully completed the distance learning course “Introduction to the Patent Cooperation Treaty (PCT)” offered by the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO).
On December 11, 2024, the Academic and Research Institute of Law hosted a student scientific workshop organized by the Department of Criminal Law Disciplines and Procedure in collaboration with the student self-government. The event, held in a hybrid format, brought together students eager to develop their scientific skills.
The Department of Criminal Law and Procedure successfully hosted the defense of industrial practice by second-year master’s students enrolled in the “Intellectual Property” educational program.
On December 5–6, 2024, the University of Tours (France) hosted the international conference “Heritage Management and Transfer in the Franco-Portuguese Context.” The event, organized by Associate Professor of the Department of Criminal Law and Judicial Disciplines at Sumy State University, Alina Honcharova, who is currently conducting research at this institution, brought together approximately 200 participants.
📅 On December 3, 2024, as part of the “Civil Safety” course, first-year students specializing in “Law Enforcement Activity” at the Academic and Research Institute of Law attended a lecture on “Providing Pre-Medical First Aid in Cases of Accidents.” The session was conducted by Dr. Yaroslava Khyzhnia, Candidate of Medical Sciences and Associate Professor at the Academic and Research Medical Institute.
Olha Maletova, Head of the Department of Criminal Law and Procedure, successfully completed the online express course “Fundamentals of Testology and Test Development”, organised by the Scientific and Methodological Centre for Higher and Professional Pre-Higher Education.
The Department of Civil Law of Yaroslav Mudryi National Law University and the NGO “Civil Law Platform” have announced the results of the competition for the best scientific paper.
29 листопада 2024 року завідувач кафедри кримінально-правових дисциплін та судочинства Сумського державного університету, д.ю.н. Ольга Малетова, та керівник Центру підтримки технологій та інновацій (TISC) при СумДУ Євгенія Литвиненко взяли участь у Національному форумі з інтелектуальної власності та інновацій – IP LET FORUM 2024.
Цей захід, що відбувся вже втретє, об’єднав представників законодавчої та виконавчої влади України, фахівців у галузі права, інтелектуальної власності, економіки, креативних і інноваційних індустрій, а також науковців і винахідників.
Програма форуму складалася із семи тематичних сесій, де обговорювалися ключові аспекти розвитку інтелектуальної власності в Україні, зокрема:
інтеграція до європейського простору інтелектуальної власності;
національний бренд «Зроблено в Україні»;
вплив цифровізації на креативні індустрії;
новітні практики захисту прав інтелектуальної власності;
інноваційна інфраструктура для стартапів і мегапроєктів;
географічна ідентичність як драйвер національного виробництва;
комерціалізація інтелектуальної власності.
У рамках заходу було організовано експозицію інноваційних розробок, де представники мережі Центрів підтримки технологій та інновацій (TISC) презентували понад 20 сучасних технологічних рішень. Експозиція включала розробки закладів вищої освіти, наукових установ та бізнесу, зокрема тренажери віртуальної реальності, інженерні рішення у сфері MedTech та інші інновації.
Участь представників Сумського державного університету у цьому заході підкреслює активну позицію університету в розвитку інтелектуальної власності, інноваційної діяльності та міжсекторальної співпраці.
