On 9 December 2025, Olha Maletova, Chair of the Council of Young Scientists under the Sumy Regional Military Administration, participated in the Regional Meeting of the Councils of Young Scientists of Sumy Region, organized at the initiative of the Council of Young Scientists under the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine.
The event took place online via the ZOOM platform and brought together representatives of the Councils of Young Scientists of Sumy Region to discuss key challenges and prospects for the development of young researchers in the region.
During the meeting, the following issues were addressed:

Prospects for the activities of the Council of Young Scientists under the Sumy Regional Military Administration in cooperation with the Sumy Branch of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs.

Participation in Horizon Europe programmes as a tool for developing international scientific cooperation.

Mechanisms for engaging students of Sumy State University in scientific activities.

Approval of the 2026 Work Plan of the Council of Young Scientists under the Sumy Regional Military Administration.
Olha Maletova emphasized the importance of consolidating young scientists across the region and strengthening inter-institutional cooperation to create new opportunities for the professional development of early-career researchers.
The Council of Young Scientists under the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine reaffirmed its readiness to continue supporting regional initiatives and to contribute to building an active network of young researchers throughout the country.
