Assistant at the Department of Criminal Law and Procedure, Yevheniia Lytvynenko, has successfully completed the intensive training course “Online UGent Academy on EU Law and Policy for Ukrainian Lecturers” (Academy4UA), organised by Ghent University (Belgium) within the framework of the Erasmus+ Jean Monnet Module.
The course was held from 15 April to 19 June 2025 and comprised 62 academic hours. The programme focused on an in-depth study of the key dimensions of European Union law and policy, including the history of European integration, the institutional system of the EU, human rights protection, the principles of the rule of law and democracy, external relations, competition law, trade and social policy of the EU, as well as issues of cooperation between the EU and Ukraine.
The certificate awarded confirms a high level of professional training and readiness to apply the acquired knowledge in academic and teaching practice, thereby contributing to the further advancement of the European dimension in legal education and research.
