On May 22, 2025, the workshop entitled “Commercialisation of Research and Innovation through Intellectual Property (IP) Protection” was held within the framework of the project 101126485 – PIPRRRIBEUP – ERASMUS-JMO-2023-HEI-TCH-RSCH. The event was conducted online and hosted by Sumy State University.
The main objective of the workshop was to disseminate knowledge on effective approaches to the commercialisation of research results, particularly through the use of intellectual property instruments, and to facilitate interaction among researchers, legal professionals, and innovation managers.
The event was moderated by Dr. Olha Maletova, Doctor of Legal Sciences, representative of Sumy State University and project implementer.

The event fostered active discussions on pressing challenges in the protection and implementation of innovation, contributed to a shared understanding of the role of intellectual property in transforming research institutions, and expanded the network of professionals interested in enhancing the effectiveness of research activities.
