On 27 February 2024, a significant event for the scientific community of Sumy region took place – the meeting of the Council of Young Scientists at the Sumy Regional Military Administration. The meeting served as a platform for discussing a number of important issues related to the organization of scientific work in the region and interaction between scientific institutions.

Anatoliy Chornous, Vice-Rector for Research at Sumy State University (SumDU), shared his experience in organizing scientific activities at the university, highlighting key aspects that contribute to the effective work of researchers. Olga Bondarenko, the first deputy head of the Council of Young Scientists at the Sumy Regional State Administration and the head of the Department of CPDS, focused on the prospects for the Council’s development in close cooperation with SumDU, opening up new opportunities for young scientists.

Dmytro Maletov, the head of the Scientific and Technical Society of SumDU, discussed the specifics of working with candidates, emphasizing the importance of supporting and developing the scientific potential of the youth. The meeting underscored the value of collaboration between scientific institutions and young scientists, laying the groundwork for further development of scientific research in the region.

Particular attention was paid to the ideas and solutions proposed by the participants of the meeting, which are to become the foundation for future initiatives. The importance of this meeting cannot be underestimated, as it marked a step towards strengthening the scientific community of the Sumy region and the implementation of new scientific projects aimed at the development and promotion of science among the youth.
