Associate Professor Mykhailo Dumchykov of the Department of Criminal Law and Procedure (KPDС) at the Academic and Research Institute of Law, Sumy State University, participated in a webinar entitled “Promotion of Educational Services within the University Career Guidance System.”
The event addressed current issues in organizing and developing career guidance activities at higher education institutions, including the role of structural units of Sumy State University in shaping a positive institutional image and effective communication with prospective applicants. Each institute and faculty of Sumy State University shared their successful career guidance cases, practical tools for engaging prospective students, and effective formats of interaction with the target audience.
The Department of Criminal Law and Procedure also contributed to the presentation of best practices. During the webinar, Associate Professor Dumchykov presented the department and introduced participants to the main approaches and techniques used in working with prospective students. Particular attention was given to the integration of digital tools, information transparency, career guidance events, and direct communication with future applicants as key elements of effective promotion of educational programmes.
Participation of the department’s representative in the webinar facilitated the exchange of experience, the dissemination of best practices in career guidance, and strengthened the position of the Department of Criminal Law and Procedure within Sumy State University’s system of educational service promotion.
