Maryna Utkina, associate professor of the department, received a non-residential scholarship to participate in the Petr Yatsyk Program at the Munch School of Global Affairs and Public Policy, University of Toronto (Canada). This Program will bring together Ukrainian scientists, civil servants, doctoral students and public figures, who will participate in regular virtual seminars led by teachers associated with the Petro Yatsik Program for the Study of Ukraine at the University of Toronto. During September-December 2024, Marina Utkina will work on her scientific project. Other fellows will also work on scientific, artistic or public projects related to the war and reconstruction of Ukraine. Special attention will be paid to the following topics: public administration and the state; law and security; culture and history.
Each participant will present their work at the seminars, receive feedback, and complete the project by the end of the participation. Non-resident fellows will also interact with the University of Toronto academic community and have opportunities for professional development and public presentations of their work.
