On October 25, 2024, an online roundtable was held for representatives of higher education institutions and research organizations on the topic “Implementing Intellectual Property Policy: Practical Insights.” The event served as a platform for exchanging ideas and experiences regarding the role of intellectual property (IP) in modern educational and research processes. Department Head Olha Maletova actively participated in the discussions, contributing insights on key aspects of IP policy.
Speakers shared best practices for integrating IP policy into the academic environment and discussed the role of technology transfer as a driver of innovation. Participants examined current challenges and prospects, particularly in the areas of IP rights protection and creating an environment conducive to the effective development of innovative activities within universities and research institutions.
The event took place over Zoom, allowing a wide range of participants from different regions to join and ensuring interactive discussions. Attendees had the opportunity to ask questions in the chat, receiving in-depth responses and additional recommendations for implementing IP policies within their own institutions.
