Maryna Utkina, Associate Professor of the Department of Criminal Law and Procedure of the Academic and Research Institute of Law, Sumy State University, has successfully completed the intensive online course “AI and Digital Transformation in Government”, developed by the Saïd Business School, University of Oxford in partnership with UNESCO.

The programme consisted of six modules and focused on building advanced competencies in digital transformation of the public sector. Throughout the course, Maryna Utkina deepened her expertise in artificial intelligence, digital governance strategies, data management, and the implementation of innovative, public-interest-oriented solutions.

The acquired skills enable her to:

  • assess organisational digital readiness;

  • identify and mitigate risks related to AI ethics, inclusion, and human rights;

  • design accessible, secure, and people-centred digital public services.

Participation in the Oxford–UNESCO programme demonstrates Maryna Utkina’s high professional achievements and contributes to strengthening the expertise of the Academic and Research Institute of Law in the areas of digital transformation and legal support for innovation.
