Starting from 17 June, we invite you to join the Summer School “Data Protection and Cybersecurity: European Experience in the Context of Military Conflict.”
Who is the Summer School for? Researchers, academic and teaching staff, educators, government employees, higher education students, secondary education students, and anyone interested!

🖍 Objectives of the Summer School:
- To provide participants with deep knowledge and understanding of European standards and best practices in data protection and cybersecurity, especially in the context of military conflicts.
- To develop participants’ skills and competencies necessary for effective data protection and countering cyber threats in challenging and unstable conditions.
- To facilitate the exchange of experiences and best practices between Ukrainian and European experts, promoting the development of scientific research in the field of cybersecurity and data protection.
🔹 Course Duration – 16 hours (8 hours of lectures and 8 hours of practical sessions)

Fundamentals of Data Protection: EU Experience and Adaptation in Ukraine
- Introduction to the concept of data protection.
- Overview of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
- Comparison of EU regulation with Ukrainian legislation.
- Practical recommendations for implementing data protection standards in Ukraine.
Data Protection in the Context of Military Conflict
