On October 21, 2024, an organizational meeting was held with second-year students of the “Intellectual Property” educational program. The meeting was conducted by Olha MALETOVA, Head of the Department of Criminal Law Disciplines and Litigation, Olha STOHOVA, Deputy Director of the Academic and Research Institute of Law, and Kateryna YANISHEVSKA, a member of the working group for the “Intellectual Property” educational program.
The meeting focused on the preparation and taking of the Unified State Qualification Exam (USQE) for students, which is a crucial component for obtaining qualifications in 2024. Department representatives provided detailed information about the specifics of taking the USQE, the timing, and the procedure for organizing and registering for the exam.
Olha Maletova opened the meeting with an overview of the USQE requirements for 2024, emphasizing the importance of timely preparation and each student’s responsibility for the exam results. She also outlined key changes in the exam process this year and urged students to closely follow information updates regarding possible additional requirements or changes.
Olha Stohova explained the exam procedure in detail, particularly focusing on how the exam is organized for students in the “Intellectual Property” program. Practical aspects such as the exam format and overall testing timeline were discussed.
Kateryna Yanishevska shared recommendations for effective exam preparation, providing advice on literature to use for successfully passing the USQE. She also emphasized the importance of organizing study time efficiently and taking the right approach to preparation, considering the specifics of intellectual property as a distinct field.
At the end of the meeting, students had the opportunity to ask questions about the exam organization, registration process, and preparation, which were comprehensively answered.
