On February 16, 2023, Sumy State University hosted the II stage of the All-Ukrainian competition for the defense of research works of students and members of the Small Academy of Sciences of Ukraine. Kateryna Yanishevska, associate professor of the department, took part as the head of the jury in the “Jurisprudence” section.
The research of the participants on legal topics touched on actual issues related to the conditions of martial law. The competition consisted of three parts: absentee evaluation of the work, poster defense and participants’ presentations at the conference. All works were performed at a high scientific level, and the winner was the work dedicated to the institute of international legal sanctions.
