On 22 April 2024, Yevgeniya Lytvynenko, a teaching intern from the Department of Criminal Law and Procedure, attended an event as part of the Ukrainian Intellectual Property Week 2024 (IP WEEK 2024). The event, “Talking about my idea”, was organized by the National IP & Innovations Hub and TISK in Ukraine, focusing on “Sustainable Development, Intellectual Property, and a ‘Green’ Future”. Participants learned how intellectual property influences the implementation of innovative and creative solutions that play a key role in shaping a green future.
Experts discussed how to effectively use intellectual property tools to stimulate environmental innovations and promote the spread of green technologies. The agenda included new trends in the energy and climate components of innovative development.
Representatives from leading companies and organizations shared real-world experiences in managing intellectual property rights in the field of green innovations. They presented practical case studies on legal aspects of innovative developments in environmentally friendly technologies.
