Teacher-trainee of the KPDS Department Ruslana DEGTYAR took part in the Media Marathon “Equality in Politics and Inclusive Restoration” held on October 24-25 at the initiative of the National Democratic Institute (NDI). The event is organized to highlight the key tools and obstacles that affect the achievement of gender equality and inclusive recovery. The advantages of gender-based governance were considered, as well as the challenges arising from Russia’s full-scale war against Ukraine.
The event was attended by political leaders at the level of local and national administration, civil servants, representatives of vulnerable population groups, experts on gender equality, representatives of public organizations in Ukraine, representatives of diplomatic missions and international organizations, representatives of mass media and influential public figures. .
The media marathon “Equality in Politics and Inclusive Recovery” was organized with the support of the National Democratic Institute and sponsored by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID), the Government of the United States of America through the Bureau of Democracy, Human Rights and Labor Relations (DRL). This event was held within the framework of the “Participation Models in Ukrainian Reconstruction” project with the financial support of Sweden and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for Commonwealth and Development Affairs of Great Britain (FCDO).
