On 21 October 2024, an open online lecture will be held for students specialising in Intellectual Property, featuring leading experts from the IP Office who will share their insights on the protection of intellectual property rights in the IT sector.
The lecture will be delivered by Yuliana Zukh-Kiprianova, an innovation specialist from the Department of Innovation Development at the IP Office’s Technology and Innovation Support Centre (TISC) network, who will discuss the specific features of protecting intellectual property rights in the IT sector. Additionally, Kateryna Sadilova-Milashevska, also an innovation specialist at the same department, will cover the topic “Open Source Licences + EULA,” explaining key aspects of open-source licensing and end-user licence agreements, both for developers and users of software.
This online session will be a valuable opportunity for students to gain practical insights into intellectual property protection from experienced professionals.
