Olena Tymoshenko, a PhD student of the Department of Criminal Law Disciplines, has started her internship at the Faculty of Law and Social Justice of the University of Liverpool in September 2024. This opportunity is part of the Twinning Ukraine international program, which aims to support the development of Ukrainian scholars and foster the integration of Ukrainian universities into the European scientific and educational community.
Twinning Ukraine is an initiative that brings together universities and research institutions from different countries to create new opportunities for collaboration, exchange of experiences, and best practices. The program provides Ukrainian PhD students with the opportunity to intern abroad, working alongside colleagues from European institutions. This allows them to broaden their academic horizons, acquire new knowledge, and enhance their professional competencies.
During her six-month internship, Olena will participate in research projects and scientific studies, which will not only deepen her expertise in her field but also enable her to apply the best European practices in Ukraine.
