On February 27, a lecture on mine safety was held at the Educational and Research Institute of Law, conducted by experts from “Demining Solutions”, a national operator of Ukraine in the field of demining. The event aimed to raise awareness among students of the “Law Enforcement” specialty about mine threats and protective measures for civilians in wartime conditions.
During the meeting, key aspects of safety in combat zones and response algorithms for detecting explosive hazards were discussed. Special attention was given to the following topics:
🔹 Actions During Air Raids and Shelling
Choosing and using reliable shelters.
Safety techniques at home, on the street, and in transport.
The step-by-step algorithm for preserving life and health.
🔹 Preventing Risks from Explosive Devices
Identifying key threats and risks.
Methods for recognizing explosive objects.
Developing an appropriate behavioral model when encountering such threats.
The acquired knowledge is crucial for future law enforcement officers, as their professional activities often involve working in extreme conditions. The lecture provided valuable practical experience that will help students navigate dangerous situations and act in accordance with safety standards.
