Dear entrants, students and their parents!
The Department of Criminal Law and Procedure is part of the Educational and Scientific Institute of Law of Sumy State University and trains highly qualified specialists in bachelor’s and master’s degrees.
The main task of the department is to provide students with high quality and highly qualified education and training of specialists with leadership and high moral qualities. Our graduates are competitive in the labor market, they effectively interact in the professional, corporate and social environment. They have social mobility and are in steady demand from employers.
To implement the tasks:
- openly and organizationally and methodically provided the functioning of the specialty 081 “Law”. As part of the specialty, students in the OS “Master” will be able to choose one of the educational and professional programs “Law”, “Intellectual Property” , “Medical Law”.
- the teaching staff of the department includes doctors, candidates of legal and political sciences, graduates of leading universities of Ukraine and the best graduates of SSU;
- established and established contacts with employers for employment of graduates of the department;
- the program of passing of industrial practice on directions in management of justice, penitentiary service, public authorities, executive service, judicial administration, law enforcement agencies, the enterprises and establishments is introduced;
- students have the opportunity to obtain the rank of reserve officer at the military department of SSU;
- created all the conditions for the education of our students in the program “included semester” in the Western Free Economic Zone (Italy, the Slovak Republic, the People’s Republic of China, Lithuania and Latvia).
